“ Fantastic gem of a place on Beach rd in Strand...just across the road you are on the beach...great location... Inside Vaalkuif is very cozy and beautifully decorated...a place with history and a nice story...read about it on the menu... The service is 5 stars and all staff very friendly...plus our food arrived very quickly and looked and was delicious... We were also informed on weekly specials on specific days...we will be back soon for the oxtail and the the curry day... Thank you Vaalkuif for a very nice lunch...see you soon again. ”

“ This is a very nice coffee restaurant. We ordered some milkshakes with their Monday burger special. The milkshakes are extraordinary, matching their price, and the burgers are also good for their price, however the beef patty needs more flavor. Chips are also very good. The shop was fairly empty, and they brought the food and drinks very quickly. They did bring the food and drinks one by one for each person, as they made it, which could desync your group's eating or drinking times if you are not willing to wait for everyone's orders to arrive. The frothing machine can be a bit disturbing as it sounds like a small dog gagging sometimes. Overall a nice atmosphere with board games available to play as well. ”
